Homepage scaffold comparison

Three directions. One clear brand family.

Compare a focused brochure site, a richer client experience, and a premium automated platform preview.

Before you choose a direction

Three ways to get the website built.

The website options above are the three scopes I can build. This comparison shows where working with me fits between doing it yourself and hiring a traditional web designer.

Option
Relative cost
Main advantage
Main tradeoff
Build it yourself
Least expensive
Lowest direct cash cost.
Requires the most of your time, and portability can be limited depending on the platform.
Work with me
Middle
Faster, mortgage-specific, customizable, and you own the website and source code.
Costs more than DIY. Major future additions are separate projects.
Hire a professional web designer
Most expensive
Professional design and development resources.
Highest upfront cost, more discovery and revision time, and ownership or portability depends on the provider and contract.

Why I fall in the middle

I am not charging professional agency rates, but I am also doing much more than handing you a template. I already understand the mortgage business, the difference between the Residential / Investment and Commercial sides, and the structure we have been discussing. That lets me move faster, reduce back-and-forth, and customize the site around what matters most to you.

The mockups are starting points, not rigid templates. If something shown is less important to you, we can remove it and substitute something of similar complexity that matters more to your business.

Just as important, you own the website. You own the content, source code, and GitHub repository. Your domain and DNS can stay under your control, you can choose where the site is hosted, move it later, or have another developer work on it. That level of ownership and portability is not automatic with every DIY platform or web-design arrangement.
